And Mission Impossible is complete

Four posts in an evening? Just what on Earth is going on, Trevor?

Well, I’m back. My work, which has kept me busy (and tired) for the last few months has finally started to calm down a bit, so hopefully I should have the energy to post a bit more often round here. And at my new project that I’ll be unveiling on Sunday. But more on that on Sunday, oddly enough.

I’ve still got a few loose ends to tie up on a few issues with regards this blog, so will look to get those done over the course tomorrow before starting to focus some attention on the big day on sunday. So for those of you who enjoy the inane rantings of an irate Liverpool supporter, you’re in luck.

Meh

There was a time (not that long ago) that I would have got into a blind rage that we’d lost a match, let alone a derby game.

Now though, well, let’s just say that my priorities lie elsewhere. That’s not to say that I don’t care that we’ve lost (far from it) but I certainly don’t find myself getting so worked up about things as ultimately trivial as my football team losing a match, even it is one as “important” as a derby game.

And it’s not as if there is much to complain about. Not even Stevie G could do his usual Harry Houdini act and dig us out of the mess we’d got ourselves into in the first half hour and by the time the “Cult Figure” (at least that’s what I thought I called him) of Andrew Johnson scored, I knew the game was over. Which given that was when there was there best part of an hour left did not bode well.
